Experience:

I have been tutoring students in scientific disciplines since I was a student in high school. My first year of teaching consisted of experiences tutoring exclusively high students in subjects related to the IB curriculum in Dubai. This was followed by a year of tutoring college aged students in college level sciences at the University of Central Florida. Since graduating in 2016, I have continued tutoring both college and high school students in these subjects for about 2 years

Approach:

I review the content to be taught prior to the lesson in order to not waste the time of my students. Depending on the subject being tutored, I may prepare visual aids such as a powerpoint or drawings to help illustrate concepts. At the same time, I dont like to prepare the lesson in a manner similar to a script to avoid sounding to plain. I try to tailor my teaching style to the specific student that Im dealing with since every individual is different and learns in different ways.
