Bachelor's Degree in English Literature PGCE in Secondary Education

Experience:

I am an outstanding teacher with a passion for educating and inspiring young minds. I trained in the UK and worked in a school there for 3 Years. I have worked in the UAE for two years and am currently working within GEMS education. This experience has enabled me to continuously adapt schemes of work to suit new exam boards and I have taught a wide variety of texts in my 5 years teaching.

Approach:

I am passionate about encouraging students to become independent learners and motivating them to take ownership of their own learning.As a tutor, I believe it is essential to not only prepare students for exams, but also to prepare them for their future in Education. I am excellent at planning lessons in order to prepare students for their exams. I believe consistently modelling for students and providing detailed feedback for students is the most effective way of doing this.
