Experience:

I have been teaching the IGCSE Biology curriculum for the past 6 years. I have had great success with many students achieving A's and A*'s in their final exams. I use a wide range of teaching resources stemming from exam questions, kinaesthetic learning and online activities. I regularly supply homework for students; this is then assessed during the first 10mins of our weekly session. As well as this, I usually provide written feedback to parents on weaknesses, strengths and areas to improve.

Approach:

Using my vast wealth of resources, I tailor each and every learning session to the needs of the students. This may involve simplified worksheets, extension tasks or activities that help to develop English skills as well as Biology. If the student has a particular interest, then I will attempt to link the syllabus to this area wherever possible and try my best to make the subject fun and enjoyable throughout.
