Experience:

I have never taken part in any formal tutoring but I have always helped my friends. I enjoy working with numbers and have a real passion for problem solving. Through high school I did Math, Physical Sciences, Accounting, English and Information Technology. I am qualified in financial managment and have obtained a Bachelor of Commerce from a top University in South Africa. I completed my degree with my main focuses being on economics and finance.

Approach:

I will then revise what must be taught for a week and come up with two exercises for each tutor session. My tutoring approach will be one of test, teach, test. The session will open with a first exercise in which I will gain understanding on how competent the pupil is in the given section. I will then teach the pupil based on what this reveals. Thereafter a further exercise will be given to the student and I believe that this will make the pupil gain better understanding.
