Experience:

I am a very calm and patient tutor. I have 15 years of experience in teaching in UK curriculum schools and will be able to identify the areas of challenge for each student and focus on those important areas that will be assessed in the GCSE or IGCSE assessment. I am experienced in teaching Mathematics at GCSE and IGCSE level. I am also experienced at teaching AS and A level Mathematics and I have also taught students GCSE Statistics.

Approach:

I will arrive at the first session with a baseline assessment which we will work through together. This will help me to identify the areas of strength and weakness. From there I will plan a series of lessons which will use this gap analysis to strengthen each of these areas. Each lesson we will use interleaving and low stakes quizzes and as we near the date of your exam we will fully focus on completing past exam paper questions to ensure you are fully prepared and confident of success.
