Experience:

I have 2 years of experience as a private French teacher to a primary student when I was a college student, and 2 years as a French teacher at a language training center for both adult and youth classes.

Approach:

When meeting students, I like to take the time to get to know them, set them at ease, and build trust. I’d try to understand if where their challenges with French come from (if any), and inspire them to learn by showing them that speaking a new language like French is not about being perfect in the first place, but more about being curious and enjoying it. I believe a lot of verbal repetitions and in context practice would greatly help too.
