Masters in primary school teaching

Experience:

I did psychology and sociology for my under graduate degree and then completed a masters in primary education. 4 years experience teaching children and also tutored Spanish children in Ireland to speak English. Experience with working with children from 3-12 years of age through a range of subjects mainly English, maths, science and humanities.

Approach:

I plan my lessons based on the subject. For example in maths I will do a test and then focus on the weak areas. In English it is important to speak the language with me and build up lots of different vocabulary, writing skills and reading skills. I make sure to get as much work done as I can In a short space of time. Consistency is key to tutoring children.
