Qualification:

Passed Grade 8 Solo Piano and Grade 8 Music Theory

Experience:

I have completed proficiency exams in Music from the Trinity Guildhall College of Music. I have taken 15 years to build up my skills and comfort with the piano, and as a result I have completed both Grade 8 Solo Piano exams and Grade 8 Music Theory exams. I play in local bands in the UAE, so I have direct experience with the music scene here. Approach:

I offer customized lessons for every student, based on their long-term goals. And I want to make sure that students can see their improvement regularly. When I teach, I want to make sure that my students see the links between theoretical music concepts and apply it when they play music. So there will be frequent back-and-forth between paper and the piano. This style of teaching is effective, since learning by doing firmly roots the key concepts in the student's mind.
