Experience:

I started as a middle school mathematics teacher (4+ years) in Maldives before moving to a secondary school. This was in the government schools there. I got an opportunity at Ghiyasuddin International School, Maldives, as a HOD for Mathematics for 5+ years. I stayed and worked in Maldives for 14 years and have tutored age groups fro 10 - 19 years. I moved to Al Ain in August 2018.

Approach:

I focus not only on the 'what'' of teaching but also on the 'why'' and 'how' of learning. I believe in simplicity and hence coach the simplest methods of remembering mathematical facts, although I do provide all possible methods in general. To climb to the top of a ladder you have to start from the lowest rungs and pass over them; likewise in Mathematics I believe that the basics have to be clear first to avoid later stage struggles.
