Qualification:

Bachelor of Education in Primary Education (B.Ed) and EAL specialist

Experience:

I am a fully trained primary school teacher, teaching children aged 3-12 years of age in Northern Ireland. I have also completed a total of 2 years teaching the IB curriculum in both the International school of Poznan and currently as a teacher in an international school in Dubai. I have tutored children for exam preparation, including; Phonics, GL assessments, ACA and transfer tests. I have experience with SEN and EAL tutoring, including children with dyslexia and autism.

Approach:

As a successful tutor with a guaranteed increase in pupil attainment I will adapt my tutoring technique to suit your child. I believe each child responds differently and will therefore choose the most appropriate method after my initial meeting. My calm and trusting nature will help build a strong relationship with your child where learning is made fun and accessible. I also offer support and advise with home learning with the aim to continue learning beyond tutor time.
