Primary Teaching Degree with Ba Honours.

Experience:

I have tutored both in the United Kingdom and Unite Arab Emirates. I have worked with pupils from ages 7-12 focusing on various areas depending on their attainment. This has included: addressing misconceptions on arithmetic and reasoning papers; improving mental recall; developing comprehension skills; enhancing and developing written work. Also, I have prepared pupils for upcoming assessments including progress tests and SATs as well as preparing pupils for the transition into secondary school.

Approach:

Throughout my teaching/tutoring career , I have seen a huge impact when working indepthly with students on a one to one basis. I believe in adapting every lesson to match the child's specific needs so that their learning is tailored to them and so that the time we have together has the biggest impact. I draw on a range of resources in my lessons and constantly re-assess to see whether they need to consolidate or progress in their learning.
