PGCE Primary Education, BSc physical Education and Sport and Exercise Science

Experience:

I qualified as with a PGCE from York St John University in England and have been a primary school teacher for 9 years and have taught across a range of ages. My teaching has been rated as 'outstanding' on many occasions and I am very passionate about what I do. My strengths lie in phonics, primary school maths and English. In addition to this I have a degree in PE and sports science and have coached football, athletics and cross country when living in England.

Approach:

My style of teaching is to create a fun atmosphere where the child is allowed to question their own understanding and push beyond what is expected. I am a firm believer in there being more than just the expected answer and with my support and encouragement your child will be able to ask what?, why?, when? Who? Where? With confidence to fulfil their inquisitive nature.
