Hello! My name is Matt. I have taught the Australian Curriculum for three years and have had experience teaching all grades throughout my time studying and teaching. I am passionate about encouraging a growth mindset and consider the teacher-student relationship to be of utmost importance for effective learning. I have a keen interest in teaching Mathematics and English.

Approach:

I have always enjoyed assisting individual students who require extra support or extension in their learning. As a teacher, I can analyse and apply any curriculum standard to accommodate for the needs of a student. I plan my lessons based on the personality and interests of the student and enjoy engaging them using different strategies. My lessons will involve multiple modes of learning (hands on, written, verbal, digital) that create a range of experiences for a student to connect with.
