Experience:

I am born and bred in the UK and have lived in London for most of my life. I have taught English and Maths to children from ages 3-16 years and have experience teaching all areas of English - spelling, grammar and punctuation, writing skills, comprehension skills, reading fluency and phonics. I have experience teaching children with learning challenges (including children who are on the Spectrum) and I am able to adapt my learning strategies accordingly.

Approach:

My lessons are one of a kind because I believe each child is one of a kind. I always strive to get to know my students and find out what works best for them. I do try to make my lessons fun, particularly for younger students. I don't believe in being forceful or overly strict, as I believe children respond better to positive reinforcement and kindness. My first session will involve an assessment; this will vary depending on what your child needs help with.
