Qualification:First class honours degree in mathematics from Manchester University.
Experience:I am currently working as a lead maths teacher for the ministry of education. Before this, I tutored part-time within and outside of university. My strengths are that not only is my subject knowledge very strong... I am able to express myself in a way that is understandable to students younger than myself. This matched with my welcoming personality, will mean that I would allow my students to relax very quickly and therefore, allow them to enjoy and excel further to see what they can achieve.
Approach:My tutoring approach involves 1 to 1 interaction of working through examples from resources that I have whether it be a textbook or past exam questions. I have many little tricks of remembering information, which I have learnt from experience, is so vital in mathematics as this has played a major part in my academic success. So I will be teaching my students everything I know, in a simple and enjoyable manor which they will be able to see, but most importantly... remember.
