BSc Art and design, PGCE Primary Education.

Experience:

Experience tutoring years' 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 English, phonics, reading and math on a 1:1 basis. Over 5 years experience of working in schools in England. I have worked for Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6. I have taught full time as a fully qualified primary school teacher for the past 3 years, in that time I have been responsible for the attainment and progress of a year 4 and year 5 classes. I have lead booster groups in the areas of reading, grammar and mathematics for KS2 children, preparing some for their year 6 SAT's. I'm currently the lead of Art in an IB school.

Approach:

I am a dedicated, ambitious and enthusiastic individual with a passion for teaching. I have a very creative approach to my teaching practice, which I have frequently used effectively in order to problem solve and engage students with their learning. I provide both challenge and differentiated support in my practice in order to excel students.
