Experience:

Educated in Dubai, I have recently moved back to the UAE from London. Holding BA Hons and PGCE in General Primary, I have worked for 5 years in primary schools both within the state and independent sector in London. Throughout my teaching career I have tutored regularly and coached several pupils for the full 5 years. In particular I have focused on 11+ Common Entrance and SAT preparation for year 6 with successful results into top prep schools in the UK.

Approach:

As a qualified yoga teacher, a child’s wellbeing being is at the heart of my teaching style and I encourage a growth mindset and love of learning. I personalise my 1:1 sessions according to the interests of my pupils and incorporate games and creative assignments/activities. I am well versed in preparing for examinations and going through appropriate techniques as well as how to cope with exam pressure and anxiety.
