Experience:

I have been a teacher for 15 years, in Edinburgh in Scotland and I have been teaching in Dubai for the last 3 years. I am a PE and humanities teacher. I teach in an IB school currently, teaching students from KG1, all the way up to Grade 10 in MYP. I am a competent teacher with wide subject knowledge.

Approach:

Lessons are planned carefully around student needs and level of ability. I am a patient and motivating tutor who takes a positive approach to teaching and learning. My tutoring techniques involve Q&A to encourage students to develop confidence in their own knowledge and to develop their ability to discuss it. I focus on how the student I am working with learns in their own way and plan my lessons to ensure they will learn in the best way suitable for them.
