Experience:

Teaching in Abu Dhabi two years in a government school in an Elite programe. I have a Matsers in Education majoring in Math and Geography. I have a BA in Math. TEFEL completed. My teaching style is student centered discussions, to engage my students in critical thinking. Make connections related to students everyday life. Building strong professional relationships with my students eliminates learning barriers. A major focus on literacy as well as numeracy.

Approach:

I plan my lessons with my students in mind, I am only as good as my weakest student. all students must be catered for through differentiation within my class, through tailored worksheets, assigned tasks and peer teaching. I have received feedback from whole school inspections that noted my classes were high achievers with strong evidence of a positive learning environment. my students are not afraid to approach me or to raise their hand at any time to ask me to repeat or help them. my students last year have recieved the highest math grades in all ASP UAE schools.
