I have a masters degree in Dentistry with an extensive experience in teaching biology.

Approach:

During the first lesson given I will familiarize myself with the student's strengths and weaknesses. I always keep the parents informed on goals I will set for the child and whether he/she has reached their goals throughout the tutoring classed. I am very conscious of the fact that each student has a different method of learning and I like to use this to my advantage when I am teaching in a one on one setting. I try to keep the lesson interesting and engaging for the student using extra resources in addition to their school books. I make sure there is an understanding of the material as this makes everything much easier to learn.
