Experience:

I have 12 years of teaching experience, where I have taught in both the USA and UAE from grades 2-9. I have also tutored English reading & writing as well as test preparation for teens and young adults. My teaching experience has shown me that everyone can learn and we all learn differently. It is important to me that students understand how they learn in order to best engage in the learning process. It is my privilege to help others discover how they best gain knowledge!

Approach:

I plan lessons based on exactly what a student needs. I will determine the student’s areas of strength and weakness with a pretest. We will then focus on improving areas of weakness and challenging areas of strength. Since all students learn differently, I will also conduct a brief learning style inventory so that I am able to deliver instruction based on the student’s learning style. I will periodically give post-assessments to measure student growth and celebrate successes!
