Experience:

I began my teaching career at the Ravenscroft School in North London, UK. I taught Mathematics to KS3 students. Since then I have tutored students of all ages. I have also worked as a course curriculum developer at Motorola Solutions in the UK, and also as a trainer at Sony in the UK.

Approach:

To any student I meet, I first give them a clear understanding of the real world application of the topic at hand. I explain this in detail as it not only makes the subject interesting to them, it also creates an intellectual spark and makes them think creatively. Additionally, I break down any topic into several easy to digest small steps that each student could learn at there own pace. I also teach using memorable terms from movies or real life events so that the student remembers the key terms or concepts - this is particularly useful for students who feel a lot of anxiety before an exam and sometimes face a blackout of their memory due to not being able to hold their nerve. I can provide very good references and feedback from British/English citizens in the UK, and also from students from South Africa and Pakistan in Dubai.
