Experience:

Teaching & photography (below) Teaching children: I mainly work with children between 4-8 years of age with reading and writing difficulties in English and Arabic. I have been a teacher for 13 years and I have worked with both British and American curriculum schools in Dubai. My teaching style is a mix of excitement and structure. Children need a clear strategy to follow but also should enjoy learning during the process. Teaching adults: I work with adults who need English and Arabic language skills.  Photography: with adults, I do photography session (specifically Long Exposure).

Approach:

Once I spend most of my sessions in the kitchen because my student was a chef and wanted to learn the language. So I asked her to pretend she’s on a cooking show and I helped her learn how to read, speak, and write recipes. We both had fun and she took her time learning without feeling pressured. We ate too!
