Experience:

I have experience tutoring for one academic year. This was a one to one student as this was the preference of the parents. The child received mathematics and English tuition to increase her confidence at school. Over the course of the year, the programme of study changed to reflect what was being taught in school. We used the outdoor environment to consolidate her learning and I was able to use various interactive websites to aid her learning.

Approach:

I believe that children learn best when they are engaged, and enjoying what they learn about. Therefore I spend time getting to know my students in order to structure a learning plan which will meet their needs and interests. I adopt an active approach whereby pupils will be using different resources to aid their learning. I aim to make learning as fun and as engaging as possible and believe in using different environments to inspire my students.
