PhD Economics, MPhil and BA mathematics and Statistics

Experience:

I am very familiar with both the American and British curriculums. For the British, I teach A Level, Further mathematics, IGCSE and GCSE. I also teach Statistics up to Further Statistics. For the American, I teach both Calculus and ASP Statistics.

Approach:

Teaching should be engaging and funny. It should be student-centred and the recent developments in the technology arena make this possible. The use of i-pads in developing engaging activities such as quizzes, quizlet, kahoot and so on shifts the heart of the learning process to the student centre court. My teaching philosophy is centred upon this concept together with the flipped classroom approach.
