Experience:

Fully qualified, British secondary school teacher with 6 years international teaching experience. I have offered Primary and Secondary tutoring services both in the UK and abroad over the past 6 years. I have supported an ex-student during their IGCSE Geography resits. They achieved an ‘F’ grade for their summer exams and with two months of meticulous tutoring, they were awarded an ‘A’ grade for their resit.

Approach:

I consider myself to be polite and professional and endeavor to offer high levels of service. I am able to tailor lessons to student needs ensuring progress and achievement. Inquiry-based learning plays a key role in my approach. I believe that, along with developing pupils understanding of topics, it is a key ingredient of the self-directed learner. I encourage students to discover, understand and critically evaluate their own work through the use of questioning and research.
