Experience:

5 years teaching the British Curriculum. Experience with GCSE classes at a range of ability with excellent progress results. I have taught BTEC Travel and Tourism, primary and secondary social studies as well as humanities. My specialism is geography, Experience with SEND and EAL students so able to differentiate effectively so everyone can access the curriculum.

Approach:

My tutoring approach encompasses a range of styles to ensure the child is thinking and recalling content. This is through questioning to check understanding, quizzes to ensure progress and breaking down exam style technique. Furthermore, I can adapt my style to suit your child's needs and learning style. I also believe in empowering the child by helping them to identify the learning style which best suits them and provide techniques to help them revise effectively. I can provide a tailored approach to provide a curriculum which matches your childs strengths and weaknesses.
