Approach:

Lesson Planning Plan an agenda for the session, what to do and what needs to be covered during session time. Tutoring techniques Work with students on what needs to be covered. Review the student's Student Tutorial Assessment and/or the Cook Study Skills Checklist with the student to inquire about how the student is doing. Work with diverted tools, for example, using technology, games, music and so-on making eye contact, leaning slightly toward the student, nodding appropriately, responding with appropriate facial expressions, and relaxing when watching the student communicate. Listening actively shows students that they are important enough to have undivided attention. As the lesson comes to an end talking to students about the next session and getting them excited and encouraging them by giving them a challenge.
