Experience:

I am currently the Head of Year 6 and a year 6 class teacher at a British International School in Dubai. This is my second year here in Dubai and my second year teaching in year 6, where I have been graded as ‘very good’ according to KHDA standards. Prior to that I taught in the UK for two years teaching years 4 and 5. I graduated from the university of Manchester with an Outstanding PGCE.

Approach:

I have two years tutoring experience in the UK. I tutored year 5 and 6 pupils and I focussed on preparing year 6 students for SATS. I am a firm believer in student enagement and aim to make my lessons exciting in order to drive my students to progress. Also, I encourage critical thinking and student led learning in order to allow students to think deeper about the world around them and apply their knowledge to real life situations.
