Experience:

I am a fully qualified primary school Teacher from Ireland. I have been teaching in an International school in Dubai for 2 years now. My tutoring experience is 3 years and have had many students for tutoring that have improved drastically with extra help. I believe any student can achieve full potential with the right approach and I have have watched many students flourish with my guidance and help through tutoring.

Approach:

Lesson planning must take into account the specific need for each individual student. I will plan my lesson around the student and how I feel they learn best. My lessons go beyond what is taught in the classroom. One on one tutoring allows a teacher to go into depth and slow the lesson down to the pace of the student. Often some students get left behind in class but with tutoring I can ensure this will not be the case. My lessons will cater for the needs of the student with the curriculum of the school being taken into consideration also. My techniques will help students to have a different outlook on topics learned in school, and give them alternative solutions to any problems they may be facing.
