Experience:

I am a dedicated and diligent teacher with a love of learning which I strive to instil in children. The children in my class have always made expected or above expected progress during my time with them. I have a great deal of experience in working with English language learners. I have tutored a child ofor 2 years 4 times per week. During my time in Dubai, I have gained a great insight into how to support the children attending schools here in the UAE.

Approach:

When planning lessons, I always take into account the individual child and how they learn best. I strive to create hands-on, active experiences for children to ensure that they are excited about their learning. I also like to give the children some ownership over their learning. I believe in developing a relationship of mutual respect and getting to know the interests of the child. This allows me to plan lessons involving topics that interest them, making the learning more real and relevant.
