Bachelor of Arts in English and Geography, Masters in Journalism, Professional Diploma in Education

Experience:

In addition to six years of teaching experience, I have a BA in English and Geography, a Masters in Journalism and a Professional Diploma in Education. I was awarded a 1.1 Honours degree in my teaching degree, I received an A grade in teaching practice. As English is my first language and I have studied it in university for five years I am available to teach all grade levels from Elementary to University. I aspire to share my passion for English with those I have the opportunity to teach.

Approach:

As a full time teacher for six years I have a wealth of knowledge and resources that I can bring to my lessons. I use a variety of questions and revision techniques. I love to motivate and encourage my students to fulfil their potential. I facilitate the student's individual learning style and help them to relate what they are learning to their own life. I feel this allows the student to fully engage with what they are learning and it enhances their enjoyment.
