BSc Biology with Physical Education and Science

Experience:

I received an A1 in Biology for my leaving certificate and received a scholarship into Dublin city University where I Studied Physical education and Biology for my undergrad which includes general science up to grade 10. I completed a post-grad in strength and conditioning last year and received a first class honours degree. I started giving private tutor sessions during my time in university and continued into my first two years teaching.

Approach:

I prepare notes for each lesson which are very important for the student to reinforce the learning after the session and also very useful prior to exam time for revision. I use an inquiry based approach to teaching and learning so the student has a wider understanding of the topic. I have lessons plans for each topic and I use animated videos to enhance learning.
