Experience:

I'm an Honours grad holding an MSc in Biomedical Sciences (Pharmacology route). I have been teaching students at college/ university level for the past 3 years. I have a unique and effective style of teaching where I make sure i engage the students in the learning experience as much as possible, by providing powerpoint presentations, handouts and many learning aids such as cool videos and much more.

Approach:

In my teaching approach, the number one thing I strive for is engaging the student as much as possible whether it is through uncompleted handouts that the student has to finish through my teaching or through fun and active exercises. I keep in consideration every student's learning style and I plan my sessions accordingly, for example, being an audio visual learner myself, I know what kind of teaching styles work for me and what is the best way I learn, with that, I make sure that I analyse each student according to their needs to get the best teaching experience and to optimise the learning outcomes from each session. My teaching style and way of approaching students has been endorsed by many of my professors as well as the students I have taught in the past. The reason behind my success as a tutor is because I know what the students need and that is exactly what I deliver to them. I make sure my sessions are very dynamic and active and I move at the pace the student finds most comfortable. I have taught students starting at the high school age up until students writing their master's thesis, and I have had positive experiences with all of them. My lessons are very unique because they are FUN! I know how a boring class or a boring session could be to a student.. and that is exactly what I don't do in my lessons. I keep my relationship with my students are very professional yet very easy and approachable, I don't treat my students as a senior to them, I treat them as my friends.
