Experience:

I am a dynamic teacher with broad experience across age groups in the UK, Ireland and the UAE. I am passionate about teaching and I ensure that I give the same levels if energy to my home tuition sessions as I would in the classroom. I embrace a positive learning environment that stimulates pupil questioning, allows for challenge, and where learning activities are carefully differentiated to meet the individual ability and learning styles of the learner. I use acute on-going teacher assessment also to ensure that the pupil is making accelerated progress against their starting point and each session is catered specifically to the individual learner to ensure that any learning gaps are closed and that they make accelerated progress in each session.

Approach:

I understand the importance of linking home tuition with school and therefore would ensure to keep a consistency in the strategies used and follow relevant schemes to ensure the best consolidation of learning. I have a broad range of self made resources and access to a range of softwares and schemes and therefore ensure that my tuition lessons are carefully resourced with bright and stimulating materials tailored to the needs of the individual.
