Experience:

I am currently teaching on the MYP and DP Programmes on the International Baccalaureate. I have several years of experiencing teaching GCSE and A Levels in the following subjects: Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Arabic, Urdu, Accounting and Business Studies. I am fluent in five languages. I have a MA in Advanced Educational Practice. I have worked as an examiner for U.K. Examination boards and therefore I am able to train students to produce responses that meet the assessment criteria.

Approach:

I plan my lessons so that they are dynamic and interactive. I use a range of assessment for learning techniques, therefore at the end of each session both myself and the pupil are aware of their up to date progress. I use a vast range of resources in order to keep students engaged in their learning. I integrate the global contexts of the material so that the students can be stimulated by what they are learning and can appreciate the real-life contexts. I use exam papers and assessment materials so students are fully accustomed to dealing with exam standards problems under stimulated exam conditions. I provide revision workshops and produce individually differentiated revision packs for all my students. I keep regular communication with parents providing regular feedback so parents are fully aware of where their child is in in terms of progress.
