Experience:

I have tutoring experience in GCSE Art for over 19 years now. I have lots of examples of projects where majority of my students have got A and A*. I have a record for helping my students achieve these grades through small intervention strategies and telling them exactly what they should enter in their portfolios. (My tuition fees include materials For session.) I know many students want to study GCSE but are unable to do so due to choices available at school. I can teach them the full course.

Approach:

Presentation and love for the subject is core to achieving high in this subject. For me it is important the students are given the very basic skills to fully understand what is needed. From page one in the portfolio we aim to impress working at the highest level possible for the student. I would assess the students drawing capabilities and work with their strengths to create a portfolio that works best for them and will give them what they need to hit those high levels. This is done through selecting artists that really work with the style of your child’s art work. Basic skills of painting and drawing are embedded early to allow for strength to grow in the project. My lessons are all about guidance and training .. this won’t only give them a create 60% portfolio but also fully prepare them for the 40% exam. If your child is studying the subject at school then this will be help and training how to improve the quality of the work and portfolio overall.
