Experience	Experience: I completed a BA in music in Dublin City University (DCU). During my time as an undergraduate I would perform regularly at concerts organised by the college. I also had the opportunity to compose some music for the Fidelio piano trio who were resident in the college. I have 8 years experience of teaching guitar. I then proceeded with my studies and completed a Graduate Diploma in Education in DCU. I have 4 years teaching experience as a primary school class teacher.

Approach	Approach: Music and guitar lessons are structured in a way that children can learn music theory as well as the practical skills of learning how to play an instrument. They are planned in consultation with the student.This element of choice provides the student with more motivation to learn. I use an enquiry approach for my History, Science and Geography lessons. Students are encouraged to ask questions and use experiments and research and analytical thinking skills. The structure and content of English and Maths lessons greatly depends on the abilities and needs of each individual student.
