Experience:

I have recently graduated from the American University of Sharjah with a BSc in Mathematics (3.7 GPA), and am looking to start tutoring. I can aid with many math courses including pre-calculus, calculus I-III, ordinary/partial differential equations, linear/abstract algebra, and even real/complex analysis. Though informal, I have experience helping people with these subjects all throughout my high school and university years. All such people have experienced positive results and improved grades.

Approach:

I believe that full understanding of a subject requires a firm grasp of the fundamentals. Because of this, I first identify a student's weaknesses and proceed to strengthen them. Once I believe a student has strengthened these weaknesses, I move on to more advanced concepts. I always make sure to use simple language and encourage lots of practice.
