Experience:

Previously taught in England for 3 years. I have been in Dubai now for 2 years.I enthuse students through excellent subject knowledge and interactive lessons.Secondary English PGCE & QTS status.I have experienced rigorous CPD sessions & continuously develop pedagogy & resources. I teach British curriculum to KS3 and 4 students. I will now also be teaching the American curriculum. I differentiate and personalise lessons to accommodate all students and learning styles and am extremely adaptable.

Approach:

I am patient and allow every student to go at their own pace, despite stretching them to surpass their potential. I thrive on excellent student-teacher relationships and believe that it is fundamental to maintain such relationships, in order for students to make the best possible progress. I plan by using data and feedback to inform where students need to focus next. I adapt every lesson to the needs of all individual learners and provide targeted feedback. I have high expectations but in turn, achieve excellent results. I model responses each and every lesson, to demonstrate what I expect. Inspiring students is something I feel is necessary. I also encourage independence and self-belief.
