Experience:

I am a female secondary teacher who has 8 years experience. I have taught in the UK, Egypt, and in Dubai. I have QTS for both History and Politics. I currently teach Edexcel exam boards but have experience with Cambridge also. I can help tutor for Key Stage 3 Humanities and exam classes at KS4. For Edexcel I specialise in World War I, Changes in medicine, Civil Rights in the USA and Nazi dictatorship. I have outstanding results at GCSE level with best results in the school. I also teach A-Level Politics (Edexcel specification)

Approach:

For examination pupils I would plan and revise content before building on exam questions and past papers which would be done under timed conditions. I can plan revision sessions which build up a bank o knowledge for recall also. I use a mix of sources from written primary sources to videos and historical cartoons.
