Experience:

After teaching the English National Curriculum for 28 years, my wife and I wanted to experience another culture. We have now been teaching in Abu Dhabi for one year I have always valued the relationship between tutor and child, whether it is with a class or an individual. This allows me to impart the knowledge and skills a young person needs to develop their potential. I am able to cover all subjects in the primary school and would be happy to teach English and Maths to Year 7 and 8.

Approach:

Obviously, my tutoring style will depend on the age and needs of the individual child. Due to my wealth of experience with all ages of primary children, I am uniquely qualified to tutor an individual or siblings. I will endeavour to make each lesson fun for the child through practical and written activities that will include information technology. I will closely follow the wishes of the parents in terms of homework tasks and exam revision.
