Experience:

I have 6 years of teaching and tutoring experience with children from ages of 4-13. I am fluent in English and Irish and qualified with a Bachelor of Education in Ireland in 2016. After qualification, I participated and trained in intensive literacy and numeracy intervention courses to target children’s learning of language and number. I have been teaching in the UAE for 3 years and specialize in Grades 1-6. I have worked in SEN for 2 years also and can work with and help children of all ability and need. 

Approach:

My tutoring style is to observe the child’s approach to learning and adapt my planning to each child individually. Every child learns in a specific way. Being able to zoom in and focus on new learning through the child’s strongest learning medium is the huge benefit of tutoring. Through tutoring I also teach the child how to learn in different ways like they will engage with in their everyday classroom. The children learn to be adaptive and work in different styles to help them excel in school during whole class learning. This maximises a child’s potiential and helps lead them to greatness.
