Approach:

I believe that a trusting and professional relationship between pupil and tutee is crucial for a child to learn. I aim to provide an atmosphere which celebrates learning and achievement. My teaching style is fun and lively, yet focused. I adjust teaching to meet the requirement of each students learning style and needs, although I consistently use a range of techniques to ensure that the child has a firm grasp of the subject. Support is provided to ensure that every child can succeed, and challenge to help them excel. I make learning visible to my students in order for them to understand the progress they have made and the steps that they need to progress further. Good education revolves around communication so I am happy to discuss lesson content and structure and involve you, the parent, as much in your child's education as you see fit.
