Experience:

I am a British teacher qualified in Early Years, Primary Years and Special Educational Needs with over 10 years of experience, eight of which have been in the UAE (School of Research Science, Brighton College, Emirates Nation al School and Greenfield international School with British Curriculum and PYP). I am a great believer in continuous professional development and am always looking to improve my knowledge. I have also completed sixty credits as part of a Master’s program in Inclusive in Education and Special Education Needs with the intention of completing a full Masters in Leading Inclusive in Education and SENCO International Award. I am a hardworking, confident and reliable team-player with excellent communication skills and pride myself in being a highly motivated individual who thrives on the achievements, success and progress of others I have lived in the UAE since August 2012 and have enjoyed working and adapting to the culture. One of the most phenomenal experiences of my life here in UAE, was being part of the founding team of Brighton College Al Ain, which has been a privilege. Having gained invaluable skills, working alongside highly qualified educational experts, I have been able to transfer these skills in the other schools which I have worked at. As well as working in schools, I have been tutoring one to one and now work online using Zoom and Seesaw as platforms.     

Approach:

I am very caring and patient. My approach to teaching is quite creative and unique. I find out my students interests and make my lessons fun and interactive. My lessons are modified to my student ability and I use lot of differentiated techniques. One size does not fit all in my ethos in education and everyone learns differently. Their abilities should be identified and valued and in-cooperated in their learning.
