O'level & A'level - British Curriculum, B(Eng) Computer Science and Engineering, Post Graduate Certificate of Education.

Experience:

English comment: - (Find the French below) I have 14 years of experience teaching Cambridge Computer Science O'level and A'level with commendable results for my students as my ex-rector said. I have 3 years experience teaching bilingual section (English and French). Parents said:- their kids flourish with me, they surpass themselves, they feel safe and are eager to learn. I have now extensive experience in teaching English to non-native English speakers aged 6- 12 years old. As I master both English and French (I am perfectly biliterate), I can teach both languages with ease.  French comment: - Je maitrise parfaitement la langue française pour pouvoir l’enseigner. Je suis parfaitement bilingue. Je peux tout aussi bien enseigner des matières du système français en français et en anglais de la CP à la CM1. Pour ceux qui ne connaissent pas le système français, CP est équivalent à grade 1. 

Approach:

Teaching Philosophy -“Every student is a rough diamond awaiting polish”. I believe that learning process is dynamic where students should be active participants and not vessels to be filled up. I do agree that teachers are not fountain of knowledge and teaching- learning process is a mutual engagement. I believe in accountability and interdependence in a classroom. Though I adhere to the principles of social constructivism, I understand that cognitive constructivism is an essential overlapping component and sometimes, behaviourism would be used as a last resort. I am adamant that emotions and the well-being of a child should be taken into consideration and Emotional Quotient plays a fundamental role for a child to flourish. What render teaching exhilarating for me are the symbiosis that exists between my students and me, the ability of making my students comfortable enough to question taught concepts and the sparkles in their eyes and glow on their faces when assimilation happens.
