Experience:

With more than 3 years of experience at The Heritage School in New Delhi, working as an economics teacher, I have a diverse background with much to offer. My careful preparation of lessons allowed me to break down complicated concepts to simple examples that my high school students could grasp, which was rewarding for both my students and for me. My students have always outperformed with 70% of them scored above 85% and 55% of them scored above 90% in the board examination year 2018.

Approach:

I always adopt these following steps to plan my lessons: 1)Build lesson upon prior student knowledge 2) Make a pleasant and friendly relation with the students. 3) Accept individual differences. 4) Learning activities in my class is always cooperative and supportive. 5) I always ensure that the student/students is paying attention. 6)I always watch for the cues when children are becoming confused, bored or restless; sometimes lesson have to be shortened. 7)Use of different methods i.e. power point, flow charts etc.
