Experience:

I have a student-centered teaching style. In addition to 3 degrees and certificates, I have 20+ years teaching experience working with adult learners, university students, high school and primary aged learners. I have a background and certifications in working with special needs learners - including literacy, dyslexia and spelling/phonetics issues. I take a holistic approach to the learning and teaching process to build confidence and maintain motivation.  I charge an hourly rate of 250 AED.

Approach:

Firstly I conduct a needs analysis to ascertain the student's current level. I then structure lessons incrementally to reduce the gap between their current level and their achievement. goal. After each lesson I evaluate the progress achieved and set the goals for the subsequent class. My preference is to use authentic and relevant materials and examples to reinforce students' confidence and motivation.
