Experience:

I am a qualified in special needs teacher and have taught in various places- Special, Primary and Secondary mainstream. I can work with any levels from Y1 to Y13. I have vast experience. I am UK qualified and know how to achieve the best outcomes for my pupils. I am trained in Phonics as well as have training in teaching English as an additional language. I understand and practice the Islamic faith so can also deliver lessons on Islamic studies, social and moral education.

Approach:

I do an initial assessment to see what the child needs and personalize and tailor-make my lessons to their needs. I also speak to the students and parents to see what they would like to focus on with a view to reviewing progress throughout. I develop thinking skills, writing, speaking, listening and reading skills in all my lessons. My lessons are fun and engaging because I use 'hooks' on the area of interest from my pupils. I like to incorporate student led learning into lessons so that the students can gain motivation, confidence and self-esteem.
