Experience:

I have been teaching in the UAE for the past 12 years in all areas of the curriculum in international schools. I am a qualified swim coach, with lifeguarding and first aid training. In recent years I have been teaching physical education. My strengths are in providing engaging learning activities that are specific to the learner and focussed on progress and providing opportunities for success. I am able to transfer my experience in the school setting to teaching adults as well.

Approach:

I plan my lessons thoroughly with the individual learners needs in mind and considering that we all learn in different ways and at different paces. Lessons need to be upbeat and engaging with a variety of techniques and believe in scaffolding and support at all times.
